RECYCLE & WASTE MATERIALS WHAT DO I DO WITH IT? WHO DO I CALL?

Computer, Monitors, Printers & ALL Electronic Equipment including Old Cell Phones.

Label each item as WORKING or NOT WORKING.  Via email send a list of items to be picked up to the  Assets Management Office, including Property Tag numbers if applicable and location that items will be stored till staff from Moving Services can pick them up.                       E-Waste Information

Printer & Copier Cartridges (all types) Place used printer and copier cartridges into packaging you received with the new cartridge. Small cartridges can be sent through intercampus mail to Shipping / Receiving at mail stop T-1100. For large cartridges call Shipping / Receiving for a pick-up of your used cartridge.                   Ink Cartridges Call Shipping / Receiving x2531

ALL small batteries Place in intercampus mail envelope and send to Material Control T-600 Call EH&IS at X 7233  
Batteries (Larger then D batteries, but not auto) Send email to the  Assets Management Office, requesting the pick up and disposal of the battery (s), including the location that batter will be stored till staff from Moving Services can pick them up. Call the Service Center at x3494
Batteries (AUTO) Place battery in safe, ventilated location and call for a pick up. Call the Service Center at x3494
Tires, Oil & Used Oil Filters Call the Service Center for a pick-up. Call the Service Center at x3494
Paint Call Environmental Health & Instructional Safety to arrange for a pickup. Call EH&IS at X 7233
Unused Chemicals Call Environmental Health & Instructional Safety to arrange for a pickup. Call EH&IS at X 7233
Refrigerators (all types) Via email send a list of items to be picked up to the  Assets Management Office, including the location that items will be stored till staff from Moving Services can pick them up.  DO NOT PLACE IN THE HALLWAY! Call the Service Center at x3494
Fluorescent Light Bulbs Call the Service Center or talk to the area custodian to remove the fluorescent bulb (s). Call the Service Center at x3494
Empty Metal Containers (5 Gal or Larger) Call Environmental Health & Instructional Safety to arrange for a pickup. Call EH&IS at X 7233
Paper, Cardboard and Aluminum Cans These items can be placed directly in your office refuse container, and  will be sorted and recycled at an off campus facility. Call the Service Center at x3494
